I wanted to say a big thank you. We’re just leaving P&O Arvia after 2 weeks around The Caribbean and booked 3 trips with you;
Granada - VIP TOUR Spice/Forts/Waterfall/Lake Etang/Beach stay
St Lucia - Extended Land and Sea
Barbados - Glass Bottom Boat
All 3 were brilliant, well run and exactly as described when we booked.
Just back from a week on Explorer. We booked 2 trips with you and I have to say they were amazing! Booking and payment were a doddle. The local guides were awesome and it was great knowing that we were contributing directly to the local economy rather than a big corporate! Thanks so much! We will be booking with you for all future trips in the Caribbean.
Vip Antigua day tour today. Fantastic trip, great tour guides and to top it all a visit to possibly the most beautiful beach I've seen. Definitely worth booking.
We’ve just left Barbados Airport after two amazing weeks on the Arvia. Here’s what we got up to:
1. Party Bus in St Kitts: Absolutely brilliant! We met some great people, the guides were great entertainers, and the drinks hit the spot. We had a mishap, a tyre on the bus that blew out, but they had a new ride for us within 10 minutes and the guide kept it entertaining for us. Despite the mishap, we had the BEST time on this one and made some really good cruise friends that we saw a lot over the two weeks.
2. Beach Hop in Saint Martin: The French side’s Orient Beach was stunning. We visited iguanas, a viewpoint, and Maho Beach to watch planes land. Drinks were included again, and we highly recommend the tacos at the sunset bar on Maho Beach.
3
.
The Rhum Runner in Grenada: This blew P&O’s version out of the water. We had a two-level beach club Rhum Runner with a private DJ, unlimited drinks, two beach stops, lunch, and even a slide off the boat. It was a bit tricky to find in the port (instructions said left, but it’s actually right), but Marion was there to help with directions thanks to port WiFi. This felt like a new tour, so the minor hiccup didn’t spoil the fun.
4. Dickenson’s Bay in Antigua: Gorgeous beach with a helpful guide. The sunbeds were $5 more each than advertised, but there were bars and food close by.
We did book some P&O tours for peace of mind since it was our first time using Caribbean Cruise Excursions You Save They Benefit. But next time we’re in the Caribbean, we’ll definitely book everything through them. We saved money, they benefited, and honestly, the tours were way better than the P&O ones.
Some few additional tips:
1. Take exact change for the tours, but the other tourists were usually helpful if we needed a bit of change.
2. Take a few extra dollars in case prices aren’t exact, the sunbeds, even with P&O excursions were a little different from advertised but not much.
3. Take extra for local food and drink as there was some really good food and drink places at the places we stopped.
4. Speak to the people you share your tours with, it makes them even better.
5. Try get to find your tour early to allow for mishaps.
6. Take some water, the rum punch is strong
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Marion and Alison for booking our trips. We have had an amazing time making memories. A special shout out to captain chris in Antigua and Smalley in St Lucia for making our day amazing
I'd like to thank you all for the wonderful excursions that you arranged for us on our recent cruise on The Queen Elizabeth. They were as follows:
1. The Everglades trip in Miami
2. Snorkeling, Stingrays and Starfish experience in Gran Caymen. We were a little late getting to the meeting point because of the tenders, but with email communication, they waited for us.
3. Kukumber Beach in Belize- booked just the day before. Excellent safe, man-made beach with water slide and inflatables and of course bars and food places.
4. Chacchoben Mayan Temple with lunch in Costa Maya. A fabulous, historical trip. Lots of information and nice craft centre as you come out. We stopped off for mango and pineapple on the way back to the port too!
5. The Dolphin Encounter, Chankanaab including unlimited food and drink, seal show, beach, pool with swim up bar and much more.
All were excellent and we had great communication from you all. We had no problems finding the people we were meeting, and we were back at the port in plenty of time (for anyone worried about missing the ship! )
Thank-you for making our holiday special. Will definitely be using you next time we are in the area.
We tried to book the Stingray city excursion but having been new to the group and our 1st cruise we left it late , we have emailed and messaged and thankfully you guys got us on the trip with very late notice , communication on all sides was fantastic , and this trip made our cruise complete, thanks to everyone for being so helpful . This excursion was absolutely brillant .
