Discover St. Lucia’s wildlife and history in a different way on this horseback riding tour along the east coast. With a private guide, ride through scenic trails, mangrove swamps, plantations, and jungles with your trusty steed. Then head to Dennery Falls for a scenic view of the waters that cascade over a large cliff. Keep your eyes peeled for local flora and fauna. Enjoy light refreshments and snacks at the stable. No prior horseback riding experience is required. A private tour means a personalized experience.

  • Itinerary: After being picked up from the Port in an air-conditioned vehicle we make our way to

    1. Fond d'Or Bay - The riding trail goes through the ancient ruins to the Interpretation CenterMuseum for a breathtaking view of a carved image of a Lion and head of a Tribal Chief.

    From there it meanders through a forest of coconut palms to the Atlantic Ocean, where you can enjoy a thousand feet of sandy beach and see the nesting ground for the Leatherback Turtle. The trail continues through the rainforest and features bird watching, crabs, iguanas, and other wildlife. You can also collect some of natures medicine from the wild.

    Along the way is banana plantations which goes on for miles then into the ruins of the old sugar mill and continues through the Savannah, meadows and mangroves. Don't worry about being dehydrated as throughout the tour we will be serving you with water or freshly picked coconut water right from the nut. Back at the stable the tour won't end without our complimentary refreshments.

    You will then proceed to the beautiful Dennery Falls just 15 minutes away off site

    2. Errand Falls - Visit the magnificent Sault Falls (also known as Errard Falls as well as Dennery Falls) which is perhaps the most scenic waterfall in St Lucia. It features a drop of some 15-20m over a rounded cliff with a few smaller cascades further downstream.

  • Itinerary: After being picked up from the Port at 8.30 am or depending on your cruise arrival time.
