After our pickup from inside the Port enjoy our scenic journey into the countryside where we will be stopping off at the Coffee and Cocoa Plantations where we will be taking the Coffee and Chocolate tasting tour. 

Next, we make our way back into the city full of historic buildings and colourful highlights, where we will be making stops at the famous Umbrella Street, Pink Street, Independence Park and Amber Museum. 

As an island known for its famous cigars we will be stopping off at the Cigar Factory where we will see an exhibition on how to roll and make these fine cigars, you will have an opportunity to shop here too, what a great souvenir to take back as a reminder of your visit here. 

Next, we make our way to San Felipes Fort. The Fortaleza San Felipe is a historic Spanish fortress dated back to the mid 16th century located in the north of the Island. Also known as El Morro de San Felipe, it was used to protect the City of Puerto Plata from foreign invaders, pirates, and privateers. 

Time to relax now as we transport you to one of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic the beautiful Playa Dorada. Relax back in your complimentary beach chair siting on the powder soft sands and enjoy the spectacular view of glorious aqua blue sea. The beach itself is famous for its calm, clear waters and gentle slope, making it a popular choice for families

After enjoying the best the Dominican Republic offers, we make our way back to the Port in plenty of time for the back on board time, which is at least an hour before sailing.
