In the afternoon, travel approximately 40–45 minutes from St. George's to the Balthazar River, known as Grenada's “Great River.” Fed by sources deep in the island's interior, the river winds through the lush Grand Etang rainforest and the scenic countryside.
On arrival, friendly guides will provide an introduction and safety briefing before you put on your life vest and helmet. Then step into the river for a fun, wet, and wonderfully wild adventure. Your guides will accompany you throughout the ride as you gently spin and swirl through the currents, taking in the tropical scenery along the way.
