★ Stop 1: Spice Shop Demonstration
Grenada is known as the Spice Isle, and at our first stop, you'll learn the secrets of our world-famous spices! Watch a live demonstration on how to use fresh nutmeg, cinnamon, and other local spices—and grab some to take a piece of Grenada home with you.
★ Stop 2: Annandale Waterfalls
Next, we take a short drive to the breathtaking Annandale Waterfalls, a tropical paradise surrounded by lush greenery. Take a dip in the refreshing water or simply admire the beauty of this hidden gem. The falls have a 30 foot drop and are surrounded by lush vegetation. A large pool allows visitors to swim and cool off. At the entrance is a vibrant collection of vendors offering a variety of local products, including refreshing cold beers, coconuts, tropical juices, and spice necklaces There will be a $4 cash entry fee for those wishing to participate. We have kept this separate as not everyone wants to go into the falls itself.
★ Stop 3: Rainforest & Volcanic Lake
Venture deep into the Grand Etang Rainforest. This is a crater lake in an extinct volcano (responsible for the formation of the Island Grenada) which hasn't erupted in 12,000 years in the middle of a tropical rainforest. Myth suggests a Mermaid/Siren lives in this lake!! Get to meet the incredible Grenada Mona Monkeys.
Highlihts of your trip here...
○ Meet and play with friendly wild monkeys
○ Feed the fish in the lake
○ Explore the Information Center to learn more about Grenada’s unique ecosystem
★ Stop 4: Quick Photo Stop below the French Fort
Before heading to the beach, we make a quick stop below the French fort, where you can capture stunning panoramic views of Grenada’s coastline and historic landmarks. (There are multi steps leading up to go inside the Fort itself, which members were not happy to take the last few seasons, and the government close it during inclement weather, you can take photos without going inside, so the option to go inside the fort is up to members)
★ Stop 5: Morne Rouge Bay – Relax, Swim & Refresh (1 hr 30
mins)
Our final stop is Morne Rouge Bay, one of the island’s most secluded and picturesque beaches. Here, you can:■ Take a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters
■ Relax on the soft, golden sand
■ Enjoy complimentary refreshments (fruit punch, water, and light snacks)
★ Return to Port – Ending on a High Note!
After an incredible day of spices, waterfalls, wildlife, and beach relaxation, we make our way back to the ship, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Grenada’s natural beauty!
