Our team will guide you through a tasting during which you will discover the complexity, minerality and uniqueness of our Trois Rivières pure cane rhums.
After this we will stop at the overlook to take photos of the spectacular Diamond rock and Morne Larcher on our way to our iconic beach escape
The Rocher du Diamant (Diamond Rock) is a small base island, 300 m in diameter, which rises 175 m high, a remnant of the strong volcanic activity which affected this region. It owes its name to its general shape and the reflections it takes on at certain times of the day. It is located about two kilometres from Pointe du Diamant. Although difficult to access, it played a big role during the Napoleonic Wars, because of its strategic position. It offers a very beautiful landscape rising above the ocean and allows you to enjoy yourself with panoramic photo opportunities.
If it’s beaches, you’re after, Grande Anse d’Arlet is one of the island’s best. The sand here is golden, and the beach is dotted with plenty of bars and French-Caribbean fusion restaurants perfect for seaside snacks.
This is where we will take our beach escape. From Fort-de-France, set off on a scenic journey along the stunning Caribbean coast, where each turn reveals a spectacular view of turquoise waters, sandy beaches, and colourful fishing village as we make our way to this iconic beach.
Take your snorkel gear as you could see some green sea turtles near Grande Anse beaches. These beaches are known for regular turtle sightings, particularly green sea turtles, as they feed on the seagrass beds. You can snorkel directly from the beach.
