Your tour begins near the Bilbao cruise port, where your local guide will welcome you and assist you boarding the coach.

From the port area, we begin with a scenic drive towards the historic Bizkaia Bridge, one of the great engineering landmarks of the Basque Country. This remarkable transporter bridge, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, connects both sides of the estuary and reflects Bilbao’s industrial and maritime heritage. It is also a perfect first panoramic photo stop.

We then continue towards Bilbao and drive up to Mount Artxanda, one of the city’s most beloved viewpoints.

From here, you will enjoy beautiful panoramic views over Bilbao, framed by green hills, the Nervión River and the city’s striking mix of historic and modern architecture. It is the ideal place to understand the layout of the city and capture memorable photos.

After enjoying the viewpoint, we return to the city with a panoramic drive through some of Bilbao’s most representative districts.

Along the route, your guide will bring the city to life with stories about its history, traditions, architecture and extraordinary transformation from an industrial port into one of Europe’s most admired urban destinations.

The next stop is the Old Quarter, the historic heart of Bilbao. This charming pedestrian area is full of character, with narrow streets, lively squares, traditional shops and inviting pintxos bars.

And here is a little local tip: in Bilbao, don’t ask for tapas — ask for pintxos. Pintxos are a proud Basque culinary tradition and an essential part of the local atmosphere.

You will enjoy free time to stroll at your own pace, take photos, relax in a café or taste a traditional pintxo if you wish.

We then continue towards the Guggenheim Museum area, one of the great symbols of modern Bilbao.

Designed by Frank O. Gehry, the museum transformed the international image of the city and remains one of Bilbao’s most iconic landmarks. Your guide will explain its importance before you enjoy free time outside to admire the architecture, take photos and explore the surroundings.
